Viennese Ball: When the Viennese Waltz Makes Young Hearts Beat Faster

On November 22, this year’s Bal Viennois de Genève took place in the prestigious setting of the Grand Théâtre de Genève.
A Viennese tradition – elegant, festive, and timeless, a tradition that continues to captivate the younger generation.
For several years now, the German School of Geneva has been a proud partner of the ball, and our students have had the honor of opening the evening as debutantes. The places are highly sought after and limited. It takes commitment and preparation, countless hours of dance practice, and a selection process to earn a spot in the opening waltz.

Charlotte Beck, Marijke Lagerweij, Sophie Wieland, and Thomas Friedrich represented the DSG with flawless waltz steps before nearly 600 guests.
A truly special evening and an unforgettable experience.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Bal Viennois de Genève. We look forward to seeing you again next year.
