Erste MINT-Show an der DSG

We are delighted to invite you and your child(ren) to our very first MINT Show! Join us for an exciting evening filled with fascinating experiments, surprising discoveries, and creative presentations by our secondary school students. The evening will also include the award ceremonies for the Informatik-Biber and Kangaroo competitions.

On this special occasion, Annabelle Jaggi, coordinator of the “Eco-Schools” project, will officially present our school with its renewed certification.

From around 7:45 p.m., parents and students from grades 9 to 12 will have the opportunity to attend a special lecture on exoplanets. Younger students are also warmly welcome.

Dr. Nami Mowlavi, Senior Research Scientist at UNIGE, will share insights into current exoplanet research conducted as part of the PLATO mission. This mission of the European Space Agency (ESA) aims to discover Earth-like planets in other solar systems and study their stars in greater detail. The lecture will be held in English.

Throughout the evening, the 11th grade class will host a cake sale to treat visitors of all ages.
