Learn German while having fun during the holidays
During the school holidays, the Deutsche Schule Genf offers German language camps for children and teenagers aged 4 to 16.
Led by experienced native-speaking German teachers, children learn the language in a fun and effective way, with visible progress.
Thanks to full immersion, they naturally develop their language skills through a wide range of engaging activities — without pressure and at their own pace.
Learn German through immersion
Throughout the day, children hear and actively use German in real-life situations.
Activities are designed to encourage speaking and interaction, including games, sports, outdoor activities, theatre, role play, singing, arts and crafts, and cooking.
German becomes a natural tool for communication in a supportive, stimulating and dynamic environment.
A new theme every week
Each camp week is built around a specific theme, allowing children to:
- expand their vocabulary
- discover and use key expressions
- understand and apply basic grammar concepts
- improve their pronunciation through fun activities
The themes spark curiosity, encourage self-expression, and support natural, steady progress.

A week of learning through fun
Each camp offers a fully immersive experience combining a variety of activities in German, active participation and group work — helping children build confidence and enjoy learning together.
At the end of the week, children present their work in a performance or exhibition for their families.

Dive into the world of circus — in German!
From 10 to 14 August 2026, children take part in a unique experience in collaboration with Circus ZappZarap (Germany).
The programme includes acrobatics, juggling, clowning, improvisation and teamwork — all in a fun and immersive environment.
They practise German naturally while moving, creating and having fun.
✨ Highlight: a final performance for families on Saturday 15 August 2026.
